What is F1 in schools
F1® in Schools is a multidisciplinary, international technology competition in which pupils aged 11 to 19 develop and produce a miniature Formula 1 racing car on the computer and then send it into the race.
In regional competitions and state championships, the cars, which are powered by gas cartridges, compete against each other on a 20 m long race track. The winning team represents its federal state in the German championship.
The decisive factors are team performance in terms of design, production, reaction time, vehicle speed, business plan and presentation.
